Why exercise?
There are lots of great reasons to get active. It’s a brilliant opportunity to spend time with friends, or can be a chance to have some ‘me’ time. Exercise can also boost our mood and help us to feel relaxed, thanks to endorphins (‘feel-good’ chemicals released by our body). For some people, it can even be an effective way to help soothe period cramps. Moving our body can be a great way to de-stress and, importantly, have fun!
